The purpose of the fun challenge was to have DIY bloggers put their creativity, perseverance and patience to test by completing a room makeover in four short weeks. Pam's goal was to make over her small master bedroom. She wanted to complete DIY projects that would make the small room appear large and luxurious. Here is the room she started with... The bedroom before they stenciled it with the Alexa Allover Stencil. Pam fell in love with a very pricey David Hicks La Fiorentina wallpaper but it was way out of her budget. Lucky for Pam she discovered our FAB wall stencils and we have a similar stencil pattern to the wallpaper she loved, the Alexa Allover Stencil. Here she is working through the stenciling process on week two of her One Room Challenge. Pam used blue painters tape to adhere her stencil to the wall. This worked best in keeping the large diamond -shaped pattern in place. Then she used a foam roller to paint the stencil pattern. First she painted her walls using Behr Premium Plus Ultra in Simply White and then she stenciled the geometric pattern using Martha Stewart Living: Precious Metals Specialty Finish in Kiwi Peel. Ok, the whole transformation wasn't that easy. The actual room makeover, which included a laundry list of DIY projects besides the stenciled walls, took her about four weeks to complete. Here is the finished master bedroom. See we told you this bedroom was absolutely stunning! Are you loving the throw pillows shown in this dazzling master bedroom makeover? We certainly love them! More importantly we're digging the fact that these could easily be recreated using stencils! For the picture on the left, we think our Zamira Craft Stencil and lilac paint could easily replicate it. For the image on the right, we would try stenciling our Entwined Craft pattern in a charcoal gray to make a matching bed pillow!
