Using Wall Stencils to Spruce Up Your Window Treatments
Cutting Edge Stencils knows how to make your window treatments feel homey and welcoming with a modern twist! The following
DIY projects are some of our personal favorite
stenciled window treatments using our
paint stencils! Sprucing up a window treatment with
Cutting Edge Stencils' decorating stencils could be just the extra touch your
home interior needs, even if you're on a budget!
DIY Stenciled Curtains
Our first lovely DIY
stenciled window treatment project is from Ashley, of the blog
Simply Designing. She stenciled these beautifully chic curtains with
Cutting Edge Stencils'
Brocade No.1 Stencil, a
dense foam roller, acrylic paint, fabric medium, and curtain fabric! Ashley secured her curtain fabric to a flat surface with masking tape and stuck the stencil to the fabric with spray adhesive! She then mixed the acrylic paint with fabric medium to make her own form of fabric paint and stenciled it, using light pressure, onto the fabric! This project is quite the stenciling success story!
DIY Stenciled Cornice Board
Our second amazing
DIY stenciled window treatment comes to us from Kristin, of the blog
The Hunted Interior. She stenciled her very own
cornice board, and we just couldn't love this
stencil project more! Originally planning to build a hutch, Kristin used the neglected plywood and already stenciled drop cloth to create this super
unique window treatment! She used
Cutting Edge Stencils Trellis Allover Stencil for the stencil design and stapled the drop cloth smoothly and tightly to the plywood! We're just a little bit obsessed; do you blame us?!
