Patterned Floors: Stenciled to Perfection!

Stencils Are Strutting Their Way Across Painted Floors in 2015

Happy Friday, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! Have you heard the big DIY news? Painted and stenciled floors are one of the hottest design trends of year. In fact our social networks have been flooded with eye-catching stenciled floor inspiration. From cement floors to sub floors to even carpets, DIYers are using paint and stencil patterns to give these floors an easy pick-me-up. Today we're going to share some stenciled floor eye candy that will certainly have you considering this trend! Cutting Edge Stencils shares DIY painted and stenciled floor ideas. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/collections/wall-stencils-stencil-designs First up we have a stenciled cement bathroom floor by Segreto Finishes. For this Hollywood-inspired bathroom, designer Talbot Cooley asked Segreto Finishes to bring some interest to the stained concrete floors. Adding tile was out of the question because it would have thrown the consistency of the floor off. So they decided to apply the Connection Allover Stencil using Sherwin Williams Gray Matters. Riptide Finishes brought to life this beach style bedroom with a bold navy and white Herringbone Allover stenciled floor. Rory J., a DIY stencil fan, recently sent us a picture of his project saying, "Thanks for creating such a great stencil." He stenciled the kitchen floor in his modern farmhouse using the Shipibo Allover Stencil. We think it turned out awesome! Sarah, the clever DIYer from Sarah's Big Idea, did! She had an old carpet that she couldn't afford to replace so she gave it a DIY makeover using the Antico Stencil pattern. Not too long ago she shared her Anna Damask stenciled project on her blog White Lace Cottage. After a couple more DIY projects, which included a set of painted accent pillows, Anne is happy to share her finished porch project and we are in love with the results!
