Anytime us gals as Cutting Edge Stencils hear the words rich, vibrant and exotic in the same sentence we are as smitten as a bunch of school girls! And where did we hear those vivacious words? Well as it turns out, we recently spotted designers embracing vivid jewel-tone colors and sumptuous patterns beloved by maharajas for centuries over on ElleDecor.com. Here are some of the lovely items we spotted over there which include decked out earrings by Oscar de la Renta,a gorgeous Sari Shift Dress and pants by Marchesa Spring 2013, and a Kerala Headboard by John Robshaw... These are DEE-LICIOUS, right?! Well it didn't take long for these jewel toned, Indian-inspired and Indian-made decor to start popping up in home decor all over, from Pottery Barn and Anthropologie to ABC Carpet & Home to West Elm. Below is the gorgeous Everett Armchair from West Elm that you can see has a pattern inspired by this trend. These fabrics and furnishings are so lovely that we couldn't be happier to see them become so popular! And we want to help you introduce them into your home! Have no fear my stencil friends.
