Remember the creative queen, Sadie Jane from the blog Simply Sadie Jane, who shared her polka dot stenciled playroom with us last week? Well she also changed up an old set of frames that she had by painting them white and then stenciling our Chevron Stencil in gray. She loved how easy this project was to accomplish! To get this look, try painting Benjamin Moore's cement gray 2112-60. The results are adorable! Clever crafter Ashley, from the blog Shanty 2 Chic, created these darling little picture frames. She had a blank hallway and pile of pictures that needed to be displayed. That's when she decided to create her own stenciled picture frames to show-off her family's memorable moments. Ashley used our intricate Turkish Tulip Craft Stencil in Slate Grey by Americana, which she purchased at her local craft store. So pretty, right? And you know how our hearts go pitter-patter when we spot pretty patterns. Whether you need inspiration to craft your own or you just want to purchase a stenciled frame, Etsy can be your best friend. Here are two frames that we spotted on the crafty site. On the left, Jennifer Wilson an Etsy seller, used our Marrakech Trellis Craft Stencil to add the Moroccan pattern to a plain picture frame. On the right, Samantha West, also an Etsy seller, added a geometric touch using our Nagoya Craft Stencil. Both are just gorgeous! Kelsey from Tattered & Inked, has a passion for pattern and DIY. After searching high and low for frames to hang in her new living room, she decided to craft her own using our Zamira Stencil. She chose Sherwin William's Nomadic Desert 6107, a golden-neutral hue. Awesome job!Jennifer, the craft-star from Delightfully Noted, is totally on board when it comes to painting a picture frame. For her stencil project below, she used our Nagoya Craft Stencil on an old cabinet door in a hue similar to Benjamin Moore’s sepia tan 1116. We think it rocks!
We're glad that you hung around to be inspired by all of these beautiful frames! Now if you're looking to create your own stenciled artwork then check out Shanty 2 Chic's post, How-to Stencil a Picture Frame Tutorial.
