A Stenciled Nursery Accent Wall using the Indian Arrows Stencil

Cutting Edge Stencils loves sharing nursery ideas especially if the nursery features our
stencils. So we were pleasantly surprised when we spotted this modern nursery featuring our
Indian Arrows Allover Stencil.
Western and tribal inspired designs are super trendy right now, and we think this trend is a natural fit for the nursery.
We'd like to introduce you to AKJ, the mom-to-be and creative DIYer behind the blog
In Knots. When AKJ and her husband found out they were expecting a baby boy, they were beyond thrilled. AKJ started planning the nursery for her little bundle of joy. She admits she loved the idea of adding an accent wall and to loving wallpaper. She commented, "I've really been drawn to the surge in popularity of pretty, modern wallpaper. The only drawback for me: It can get pretty pricey." That's where we step in! Stencils are the perfect substitute to achieve a wallpaper look without the hassle or exorbitant cost. Here is what the nursery looked like before.
The first thing AKJ did was paint the room in Glidden's Granite Gray. Then she browsed our large stencil collection and fell in love with a hand-drawn arrow motif, the
Indian Arrows Allover Stencil.
AKJ painted the arrow pattern in Benjamin Moore's Decorators White using a sponge application.
She used painter's tape to hold the pattern in place on the wall.
AKJ continued to move the stencil until the entire wall was complete.
After the accent wall was stenciled, AKJ moved the crib back in place. Here is her Indian Arrow stenciled accent wall in her nursery. Way to go, AKJ! We think your stenciled nursery looks gorgeous.
