Megan's Client was a ten year old girl seeking a room makeover. Here is her room before the makeover. A tween girl bedroom before its makeover. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/products/stencil-nautical-decor She was an avid pinner and had fallen in love with a turquoise and gold room she spotted on Pinterest. Megan took a look at her inspiration, shown below, and tried to help her Client make it her own. Use the Oceana Damask Stencil to achieve a similar accent wall look. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/products/stencil-nautical-decor The first thing Megan did was paint the space a bright and stylish shade of teal using Benjamin Moore Surf Blue 2056-30. After the bedroom was painted, Megan decided to stencil an accent wall to achieve the wallpaper like look that her Client fell in love with. She said, "Since wallpaper wasn’t in the budget, we brought in this Oceana Damask Stencil with gold metallic paint. My client and her family spend lots of time at the beach, so this nautical stencil with an anchor and dolphins was the perfect choice. " The Oceana Damask Stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/products/stencil-nautical-decor Megan used painter's tape to hold the Oceana Damask Stencil in place and painted the pattern in metallic gold using a dense foam roller. She also used the clip-on stencil level to ensure the stencil was straight on the wall. Here she is stenciling the nautical wall pattern.
