Don't Be Afraid To Stencil the Brocade #1

Three Brocade No.1 Stencil Ideas To Transform Your Space

Welcome back, my stencil savvy DIYer's! It never ceases to amaze me how one stencil pattern can be used so many ways. Let's use the gorgeous Brocade No.1 as an example since it's such an intricate and ornate pattern with that high end designer feel. While it's typically put on walls, it can be used in so many places from walls, to furniture, to crafts, and more! Today's Stencil Stories is going to take a look at how three of our crafty blogger friends used the Brocade No.1 for three different projects to get that high end designer decor!

Silver Stenciled Coffee Table

First up is Molly, the crafty gal behind the blog Just a Little Creativity. Molly was oggling over those custom designer tables she kept seeing on Pinterest. With the prices way out of her range, she decided to take matters into her own hands. She says "I knew I wanted a chic and timeless, yet modern look to it." So she chose our Brocade NO.1 to use on her old beat up coffee table to get that look. In the past she had shyed away from projects like this but after watching our videos and following the directions, Molly said "I've come to realize that stenciling is really so easy." Glad to hear! We're especially glad because you produced such a lovely coffee table! PS. Molly is hosting a stencil giveaway on her blog right now, so make sure you hop on over and enter. Right now, Suzanne's hang up seems to be stenciled walls! Can you blame her? After seeing her Brocade No.1 stenciled beauty, I do too! But lets' back up for a second. Suzanne was looking to give her bedroom that extra oomph. She said "I wanted the design to be soft and calming, so I chose a paint color just a shade lighter than the wall color for the stencil. Then I chose the stencil..." The traditional yet modern flair of the Brocade appealed to her. She chose to place the design sporadically above the bed. Suzanne is definitely in love with her new accent wall and rightfully so! PS. Her advice to first-time stencilers who might be a little apprehensive "It's easy to do and just takes a little practice." Stunning! DIY Stenciled Curtains

And last but not least, is our friend Ashley from the blog Simply Designing. Ashley searched high and low for the perfect window treatments for her kitchen. It was no easy task (right fit, right color, right texture)! She didn't want to spend a fortune to get custom made curtains and felt frustrated by her search. What did she do? She took matters into her own hands! And ta-da! She stenciled these beautifully chic curtains with Brocade No.1 Stencil! Ashley says, "My kitchen feels lighter, happier and more up to date! I'm not going to lie, I absolutely LOVE the result!" And she should because they are gorgeous! Beautiful! We've seen this stunning stencil design on a coffee table, a wall and on curtains, so I have to ask; Where would you consider using the Brocade #1?
