Rise and shine, my DIY friends. Cutting Edge Stencils hopes everyone had an awesome weekend. If you've been reading our blog lately, then you know we've been buzzing about sprucing up those entryways (here and here). After all the entryway is the first impression your house makes as you walk through the door. It's also a part of the home that is almost always ignored when it comes to decorating. So if you feel that your entryway has become cluttered, grungy, dim, and not fun, then we have some ideas to help you enhance your space. Today we're going to share with you two entryway makeover ideas using stencils.

We'd like you to meet Priyanka, the decorating enthusiast behind the blog The Magnolia Street. She wanted to give her entryway a makeover so that it would make a bold statement. She considered her options and decided that stenciling the space would give her the WOW effect that she was seeking. Priyanka selected our Chelsea Allover Stencil, a stylized acanthus leaf inspired pattern. She says, "I love their stencils and their quality is top notch." Awe! Thanks Priyanka for the kind words. Anyway, Priyanka painted the geometric pattern in a charcoal hue similar to Benjamin Moore's almost black 2130-30. She also bought our stencils essentials kit and found it very helpful in completing her project. Priyanka says, "I couldn't be happier with the end result. It always brings a big, toothy smile on my face when I come home after a long day at work!" We love it, what do you think? Next we'd like you to meet June, the creative DIYer behind the blog Nostagiecat. June was frustrated with her entryway. The front door opened up to the stairs and a long narrow hallway. Ideally, she wanted to open the space up to make it bigger but her larger construction plans just weren't in the budget. June decided to settle for an entryway makeover using her DIY talents. First up, she painted the space a bright white. She selected our Birch Forest Allover stencil, a super popular nature-inspired pattern. June painted the pretty tree pattern in a pearlescent gray hue, similar to Benjamin Moore's gray cloud 2126-60 using a dense foam roller. She says, "I am so happy with how the stencil turned out...in fact, I spent a few days just staring at it!" We think her new space looks gorgeous, don't you?
