A Stenciled Pantry Makeover Using The Shipibo Allover Stencil

Welcome back, my DIY organizers! Since the beginning of the New Year, Cutting Edge Stencils has been buzzing about getting organized. In fact, just the other day we posted on our Facebook page, this super organized pantry spotted on Better Homes & Gardens.

Does its labeled structure make you ooze with envy? We thought so! Now just for a second we want you to look past those gorgeous containers and take a peek at the back of the pantry? Do you see a pretty pattern peeking out from behind there? We sure do and nothing gives us bigger pantry pride than seeing a stenciled pattern staring back at us. Today we're going to take a look at how one DIY blogger transformed her plain pantry area into something fabulous!

Say hello to our pal Ashley, the DIY organizational guru behind the blog Design Build Love. Her house had both a coat closet and pantry closet but Ashley wanted to switch them because she felt the spaces were not being used to their advantage. Her husband, Eric, took some convincing but Ashley won and the pantry makeover began! Here is a shot of the pantry before its makeover. It's a decent sized closet and is perfect for a pantry. The walls in Ashley's pantry were beat up a bit and Ashley wanted the space to have a fresh start so she painted the space white. She then planned to pretty it up using our Shipibo Allover Stencil. She says, "I loved the geometric pattern. For some reason, it felt modern to me, but at the same time, had that little bit of traditional that I like!" She stenciled the tribal inspired patten in a color similar to Benjamin Moore's carrington beige HC-93.
