Cutting Edge Stencils shares a DIY stenciled dining room makeover using the Zagora Allover Stencil. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/products/trellis-allover-stencil We'd like to introduce Luna, an interior designer in the NYC and Philadelphia area and the owner of Luna Gray Interiors. Luna has a way of transforming average spaces into something spectacular. She had a Client reach out to her about designing their boring beige dining room. Here is what her dining room looked like before Luna got her hands on it. A dining room before its stenciled makeover. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/products/trellis-allover-stencil
The 32 foot long space lacked personality and style. Luna's Client requested a space that was jaw-dropping and glamorous with black and white statement pieces. So she put together a design plan based on her direction.

With the design board approved and a plan in hand, Luna was ready to go! The first thing she did was have the columns removed and replace the carpet with beautiful dark wood flooring to coordinate with the rest of the house. Then she browsed our website for the wall stencil pattern that matched her design board. Luna landed on a Moroccan pattern, the Zagora Allover Stencil.

Luna painted the room a captivating shade of black similar to Black Ink 2127-20 by Benjamin Moore. With her stencil in hand, she was ready to start her stenciling. She used blue painters tape to hold the stencil in place on the wall. We always suggest using the clip-on stencil level to ensure the pattern was evenly placed. Luna poured her paint into a small tray and painted with a dense foam roller. She painted the pretty pattern in a high gloss that was two shades lighter than the original wall color. After each stencil design was painted, she would un-tape the stencil and reposition it until her wall was painted. Once the stencil was complete, Luna stepped back to admire her handiwork.
