Refresh Your Master Bedroom With A Stencil
An Entwined Allover Stenciled Master Bedroom Makeover
Good morning, my sleeping beauties!
Cutting Edge Stencils has been buzzing about holiday crafts and decor. We know that between holiday decorating and shopping you've been a busy bee. Well we'd like you to take a moment to think about yourself. How is your space looking these days? If your unstylish bedroom has you jumping out of bed to avoid its unsightly appearance than we need to have a chat. Today we're going to share a gorgeous master bedroom makeover that will hopefully inspire you to transform your space.
We'd like you to meet Pamela, the interior designer and DIYer behind PTB Designs. We love Pamela for her fabulous sense of style, DIY attitude, and budget conscious mindset. These three things make her master bedroom makeover a little bit more spectacular. She had a lovely brown bedroom but felt it was time for a style overhaul. The space had formerly been her garage and when they transformed it into a bedroom she had pulled pieces together on a small budget. Now she was ready to give it a facelift. Here a before picture of the bedroom.
The first thing Pamela did was paint her bedroom a sophisticated off-white similar to Benjamin Moore's
niveous OC-30. Pamela wanted to add some pattern to the space. Wallpaper typically comes to mind when considering an accent wall but it can be super expensive and a nuisance to put up. Stencils are a great alternative because they're easy and customizable. Pamela fell in love with our
Entwined Allover Stencil pattern, a elegant geometric pattern. She used blue painter's tape to hold the stencil in place and she painted the pattern in a soft shimmery silver. After the stencil was complete, Pamela added the final decorating touches to complete her master bedroom makeover. Ready to see how her bedroom makeover turned out? Here is the finished room.
Pamela comments, "
This used to be our garage and you can't tell which is the ultimate compliment for a garage makeover! Hands got dirty to make this happen on a budget!"
As far the stencil goes Pamela has touted this on Instagram,"it's stenciled using @cuttingedgestencils and a silver paint from HobbyLobby. Everyone thinks it's wallpaper! A lot less pricey!"
Pamela definitely shopped around to find the right pieces for her space. The lamps, nightstands, and mirror were purchased from Zgallerie and the headboard came from Joss & Main. She picked up the accent pillows at Marshals and the area rug at Home Goods.
We love how her decor looks against the stenciled accent wall.
