Well how do my chevron stripe 'fan'atics do today? We seem to have a bug here at Cutting Edge Stencils so you may not want to come to close. What do we have? In most parts of this country we think it's known as zig-zag pattern fever. That's right, we have a bad case of Chevron stripe hype and we're pretty sure it's contagious. So be forewarned because at the end of this post you might have too! It all started when we saw this room that was recently design by Yveline & Associate. The black and white Chevron stenciled stripe paired with the soft metallic green walls just makes us week in the knees!
The chevron trend just doesn’t seem to be dying any time soon. From clothing to home decor in both bold and subtle hues, chevron stripes are just everywhere! The best part about this is that it is SUPER easy to recreate using our Chevron Allover Stencil and our Chevron Craft Stencil. Doesn't every space deserve a splash of chevron somewhere?! Give that boring old white ceiling fan zippy makeover! Using our Chevron Craft Stencil and a fun paint color, like Benjamin Moore's utah sky 2065-40.
Love a surprise POP of pattern and color? We do to! That's why we're just smitten for these Chevron stenciled dresser drawers painted by Sheila from the Furniture Alchemy. Image the happiness every time she opens them! Use a color similar to Benjamin Moore's stem green 2029-40 to get this cheery look!
Has that old end table been sitting in the garage all this time? It may be screaming for a makeover and our Chevron Craft Stencil is just perfect for a job like this! River & Finn recycled an old side table by painting a playful pink stripe! We think it's ADORABLE!
Here's a stencil project that you could complete faster than you can say EASY PEASY! Take those old frames that have just been hanging around and give them a stenciled refresher! Paint a punchy gray and blue Chevron Craft pattern to get a similar look to the ones shown below by Squaredots, an Etsy seller.
This stripey project will have you staring at it all day! We spotted it on Joss & Main. But you could easily recreate this fun decorative mirror using paint and stencils. Paint the top half in a color like Benjamin Moore's mexacali turquoise 662. Then stencil the Chevron Craft pattern in a bold black and white!
If your walls need a little bit of pattern love but you can't commit to stenciling a whole wall then stenciled wall art is the project for you! Similar to this piece found on Prints & Printable, use our Chevron Craft stencil in red and white. Then add a blue anchor like our Anchors Away stencil. We love it's nautical feel!
We think this vibrantly painted tray that we found on Eclectically Vintage is just awesome! They featured a great how-to but the one thing we noticed it was lacking was a stencil. Make your life WAY easier and use the Chevron Craft stencil to get this look!
