Shades of Stenciled Gray
Stenciled Rooms Using Shades of Gray Paint Colors
Good Morning, my color enthusiasts! Despite the fact that Cutting Edge Stencils has had single digit temps lately, things are about to heat up in our stencil studio. The popular E L James’ erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey made its big screen debut this past weekend. The much anticipated film is not the only talk of the town. Shades of gray paint are rocking sales in hardware stores, as this once gloomy Gus hue becomes the "IT" neutral paint color. The color gray has become synonymous with style, sophistication and glamour. In honor of its popularity, we’ve compiled some of our favorite stenciled gray spaces to help you find the perfect gray. Whether you go light with Benjamin Moore’s angelica af-665, midtone with Benjamin Moore’s gray huskie or dark with Benjamin Moore's iron mountain, we guarantee you’ll find an irresistible gray here for you. A soft gray can be as angelic as Ana. This peaceful retreat, painted by Jessica Barnack from PolishtheNest, features our Paisley Allover Stencil in a color similar to Benjamin Moore's angelica af-665.Pairing Benjamin Moore’s perspective CSP-5 with the Anna Damask Stencil proved to be an excellent choice for Jami from Freckled Laundry.
The only thing that could make this bedroom more dreamy is Mr. Grey himself. Katherine, from KM Decor, painted her bedroom a color similar to Benjamin Moore's winter gates AC-30 and then stenciled the Fuji Allover pattern in a soft white.
For a classic gray hue, choose Revere Pewter HC-172 by Benjamin Moore. Cory Connor Designs painted a similar color in this subtle yet breathtaking bathroom featuring our Fuji Allover Stencil.
Are you looking for a stunning neutral for your entryway? Wow your guests the second they set foot in your home with Benjamin Moore's gray huskie 1473 and our Zamira Allover Stencil by Kress Jack at Home.
A gray like Benjamin Moore's AF-685 Thunder looks striking when combined with white like this home office painted by Newberry Sykes using our Zinnia Grande stencil.
Stencils can help tone down a mid-tone gray like this Zamira Allover Stenciled entryway. Shelly from ModHomeEc painted it a color similar to Benjamin Moore’s cape may cobblestone 1474 and then stenciled the Moroccan pattern.
This cool hue looks hot in a kitchen. Take the lead from This Old House Magazine which featured the Julian family's Hourglass pattern stenciled kitchen in Clark+Kensington’s Ominous Cloud.
Trendy gray with a pop of yellow is a winning color combination. Pear Design Studio painted this cozy family room with a color similar to Benjmian Moore's iron mountain 2134-30 and stenciled it using our Rabat Allover.
