Stenciling a Bedroom Feature Wall Using the Beads Allover Pattern

Rise and shine my sleepyheads! Are you sick of staring at empty bedroom walls? Cutting Edge Stencils has a decorating idea that will turn those walls from drab to fab. Today, we have the perfect piece of inspiration so come take a look. We'd like you to meet, Pamela, the creative DIYer behind the blog My Decor Education. Pamela has been in her current apartment for a few years and while she has spent time decorating the rest of her space, she neglected her bedroom. It was filled with a plain bed frame, mismatched bedside tables, and two lamps. To say that it completely lacks character and comfort may be a bit of an understatement. Pamela decided it was time for a bedroom makeover so she put together a mood board. Pamela chose a neutral color scheme, saying "I decided on a tonal look with a play on texture. This is a look I've been wanting to try out for ages and my bedroom is the perfect place for it." Then she planned to add a stenciled feature wall to create texture and dimension in the space. The first thing Pamela did was paint her room a color similar to Benjamin Moore's mystic beige, a creamy, warm off-white hue. Then she created a DIY upholstered headboard and DIY curtains. After it was painted, Pamela was ready to stencil her feature wall. She purchased our Beads Allover Stencil, one of our new geometric designs. Pamela painted the pretty pattern in a color similar to Benjamin Moore white opulence. She used painters tape to hold the stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern. Here she is painting through the stenciling process. And WAHLA! Here is the finished room. A stenciled accent wall is super easy and gives a master bedroom a whole new look!
