Wall Stencils Put A Modern And Stylish Spin On A Home Office Space

Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! Give your home office space the ultimate promotion in style using one of our stencil patterns. Let's take a look at a home office makeover that achieves a modern art deco style using our Deco Diamonds Allover Stencil. We'd like to introduce Jane, a creative DIYer and the blogger behind Janery. Before we dive into Jane's home office makeover, we wanted to share her company goal which is to provide pet beds that are both ridiculously chic and waterproof. Her pet beds are made in the USA and contain bold colors and fabulous prints. Jane signed up to participate in a project called the One Room Challenge which was designed by Linda from Calling it Home. The purpose of the fun challenge was to have DIY bloggers put their creativity, perseverance and patience to test by completing a room makeover in six short weeks. The challenge is awesome and now that the Spring session has wrapped up there are tons of DIY eye-candy to see. Jane chose to give her home office a makeover. Her bland space had a ton of potential. Here is what it looked like before. Her home office was a blank canvas waiting to be painted. Jane said , "My goal was to create an elegant, art-deco inspired corner office nook to complement the larger makeover of our long basement rec room. ". A stencil design is a great way to add visual interest and depth to a space without breaking the piggy bank. Jane browsed our website and selected the Deco Diamonds, an Art Deco Stencil pattern. We are going to provide all of the links at the bottom of this post so you can see Jane's room adventure but we're going to focus on the stenciling. She painted the accent wall in black. Then she used blue painter's tape to hold the Deco Diamonds Stencil in place and she painted the art deco pattern in white. After each section was complete, she would untape the stencil and reposition to finish the pattern on the accent wall. After the accent wall was stenciled, Jane completed several other DIY projects to wrap up her home office makeover.
