Stenciling A Stylish Gray Nursery
Stenciling An Accent Wall in A Gray Nursery Can Add Stylish Appeal
Welcome to Monday our stencil lovin' mamas and papas. Whether you are expecting a baby or designing a space for your adorable toddler, the decorating process can be enjoyable and overwhelming. Cutting Edge Stencils is here to help you get through it! We all know you need to start with an initial wall color and we love the color gray. It's a great color to choose when designing a nursery because it acts as a neutral backdrop to all of your colorful decor accessories. Gray is also gender neutral so it works well for boys and girls. Make sure you check out our five favorite grays post. Today, we're gonna share some stylish gray stenciled nurseries that could be perfect for your little tyke!Nagoya Stenciled Nursery
Meet Nick, who is the proud papa of Brady, a lovable little toddler. He posted his daddy-designed and super stylish nursery on the popular children's design site, Project Nursery. After having baby #2, little Brady (age 2) was graduating to a bigger boy room. Although the little guy was getting a new space, his father wanted to create a room that complemented his son's original nursery but was still unique in new ways. Nick loves modern and sophisticated spaces along with funky and unique pieces of furniture. He started the design process by creating an accent wall. He used our Nagoya allover stencil in a cool medium-tone gray, Benjamin Moore's storm AF-700. Then he added colorful decor accents in yellow, orange and teal. The space is gorgeous and yet the fun pops of color, playful wall pattern, and items like the hopscotch rug make this perfect for a small child. Way to go, Nick!Kerry Damask Stenciled Nursery
Next up, we want you to meet Erin, the proud mama to Hannah and one of the creative DIYers behind the blog Lemon Tree Creations. Erin was expecting her baby girl, Hannah, when she started to pull this room together. She wanted her decor accessories to stand out in the space so she painted the walls a cool soothing neutral, Sherwin Williams Gray Cloud. Then she stenciled our Kerry Damask pattern in DecoArt's White, Daffodil Yellow, and Spa Blue. Erin used our clip on stencil level to ensure the stencil was straight on her wall. She had this to say about the handy tool "This was such a huge time and headache saver!" Once the stencil pattern was complete she was able to step back and admire her crafty work. Erin says, "I just love it!! Every time I go upstairs for any reason, I stop in the room, glance around and smile!" We just love the look of this room and how happy it makes Erin feel!
