Add Patterned Interest To An Accent Wall With Stencils

Good morning my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! If you're tired of staring at empty walls then we'd love for you to consider dressing them up with a stencil! Simply add a splash of color and pattern using wall stencils and you'll take your space to a bold new level. Stenciling an accent wall is easy and inexpensive. Today we're sharing two accent wall projects featuring our stencils! We'd like you to meet Tracy, the DIY blogger behind At Home With Sweet T. Tracy has been transforming her oldest daughter's bedroom into a teen palace. She was working with a blank slate so her creativity was able to run wild. Tracy decided an accent wall was the perfect way to introduce some pattern into the space and add a splash of personality. She took a look at our extensive stencil collection with her daughter and selected the Archery Allover Stencil. They felt the trendy arrow pattern matched their Boho Chic design style plan. Tracy gave the walls a fresh coat of interior latex white paint (satin finish). She used blue painters tape to hold her stencil in place and painted the fun pattern in black craft paint. Tracy was careful not to load too much paint on her roller because this would have caused the design to bleed. Tracy also found the Clip-on Stencil level to be really helpful in keeping the pattern straight on the wall. She commented, " They have a level that fits on the top of your stencil-genius!" Once the stencil was complete, Tracy added a new dresser and a DIY headboard, which you read all about on her blog. Next we'd like you to say hello to Meegan, the DIY blogger behind What Meegan Makes. Meegan decided she wanted to add some pattern to her living room. After browsing our stencil collection, she fell in love with the Alessa Scroll Stencil, a beautiful geometric pattern. Her wall is painted a lovely shade of blue called Ocean Mist from Clake and Kensington. Meegan watched our basic stenciling videos on our YouTube channel before she began her project. She found the Stencil Essentials kit to be really helpful with her project because it contained all of the tools she needed. Meegan used blue painter's tape to hold the stencil in place and painted the pattern using Fusion Mineral Paint in Lamp White. She commented, "Can you tell how much I like my new wall?
