Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils trendsetters! The writing is on the walls when it comes to the recent home decor trend we've spotted and we have to say we are smitten about this one. The typography trend slowly emerged over the years and has evolved with French Typography taking the lead. Today we're going to show you how our wall stencils can work well with this stylish trend. What is French Typography Home Decor? No dictionary is needed to appreciate this glamorous trend. French Typography is all about decorating in a French style but with the volume turned up to the maximum and the incorporation of beauMediatiful French words. It’s a sophisticated and yet timeless style that mixes antique furnishing, art and luxury fabrics. French style also incorporates an element of flair and flamboyance in a way that only the French can. Since the style is so unique it's important to choose the right elements. And that's where we step in! We've pulled together some key decor pieces featuring the French script typography that we simply say, J'adore: 1. The charm and style is certainly inspiring but this trend can also be costly to pull off. That's why we love the idea of recreating our favorite French decor using our French Poem Allover Stencil. Lately we've been so inspired by decor trends that we've started to recreate them in our studio. To pull off the perfect French glam style, we painted the wall a soft-white, similar to Benjamin Moore's acadia white AC-15. Then we added a cool white sofa and mirrored coffee table. To enhance our white wall, we painted the French Poem Allover Stencil in black using a dense foam roller. This romantic typeface intensifies the French flair in this space. Black and white fashion canvas prints were hung above the sofa. Every sofa needs accent pillows. Easily create DIY accent pillows with a French flair using Paint-A-Pillow. Paint-A-Pillow kits include everything you need to create one gorgeous accent pillow so this was an easy project. The Brocade No.1 and Chandelier Paint-A-Pillow stencils are perfect for this trend. We selected the white pillow cover, Jacquard Fabric paint in black, and black designer tassels. These beauties were finished off using sparkly rhinestones. Now this stunning decor trend is not limited to walls or interiors. In fact, we were over the moon thrilled to spot our French Poem Allover Stencil on this coffee table makeover. Tammy from Shuggy's Place created a true backyard oasis. The French Script pattern was painted on the outdoor table using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in graphite.
