Stencil A Bathroom That Boasts Style

Stenciling the Trellis Allover Pattern In An Affordable Bathroom Makeover

Welcome back, my DIY bathroom renovators! Cutting Edge Stencils hopes everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day with a BBQ bash. Today we have a bathroom makeover that used a stencil to achieve a wallpaper look. Stephanie admits that her tiny powder room was in desperate need of a makeover. It was a basic half-bathroom with plain beige walls and no crown molding or trim of any kind. Her handy husband, Dan, came along and removed everything from the room including the sink and the toilet. Then he created board and batting with MDF, which is a pretty inexpensive building material. Here is a shot of her bathroom. Stephanie took a look at her new space and knew it needed something. She thought about wallpaper but it can be so expensive. She quickly realized that she could achieve a wallpaper-like look using our allover stencils. Stephanie fell in love with our Trellis Allover pattern, a popular Moroccan pattern. She said this after looking at our website, "There were so many cool stencils to choose from! This site is great." Awe, thanks Stephanie! She used blue painters tape to adhere the stencil to the wall and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern. Here's a shot of her working through the stencil process. Are you ready to see what her new stenciled accent wall looks like? She had this to say about her stenciled space, "We are very happy with how it turned out." We think it looks gorgeous!
