Home Decor Fall Color Combinations Using Benjamin Moore Paints
Cutting Edge Stencils Shares Stenciled Rooms Using Fall Color Schemes
Happy Friday, my stenciling color enthusiasts! As we mentioned the other day, Cutting Edge Stencils is fully embracing the seasonal change this year. Fall might be 15 days, 21 minutes and 6 seconds away but who's counting. We are ready to watch the trees change to shades of crimson and rust, we can't wait to pick big orange pumpkins, and eat crisp red apples. Are you with us? Great! This time of year nature offers one of the biggest color displays. We plan on tapping into Mother Nature's passion for color and introducing these fab fall colors into our home decor with a stencil of course!
To celebrate the season’s beauty, we’ve rounded up four stenciled rooms featuring earthy, autumn colors that we are sure you are going to fall for! Check these out...
Let's kick off this stencil harvest with a color combination that shouts autumn from the mountain top! This stenciled dining room, painted by Luxe Walls, captures the cozy comfort that's synonymous with fall. The warm palette starts with a base color similar to Benjamin Moore's morgan hill gold 189. It's a rich, saturated gold that feels opulent and luxurious. The color pairs perfectly with the ornate Verde Damask pattern painted in topeka taupe 1463. A warm white, like ambiance 309, completes the look! We'd love to have a fabulous feast in this dining room, wouldn't you?
Here is a soothing color combination that cools down the traditional intense fall hues. Laura, a DIYer and fabulous stencil fan, put together this living room using a color similar to Benjamin Moore's luminaire 374. Then she stenciled the Rabat pattern in anjou pear AF-425. It's an earthy color palette filled with creamy neutrals and a pinkish-red pop of milano red 1313. We'd like to carve out some time to sit in this gorgeous space!
Are you more interested in a contemporary take of the traditional fall palette? This grown-up color scheme pairs a muted purple with a smokey taupe and a dash of cream. Our fabulous fans, Janice and Emmanuel, put this guest bedroom together using a color similar to Benjamin Moore's aplomb AF-625 on their bedroom accent wall. Then they stenciled the Wild Berry Damask pattern in bordeaux red 1365(a couple of shades darker than the base color). The surrounding walls were painted sulfur yellow 2151-40 and the space is accented with november rain 2142-60. We call this combination modern with a hint of playful mischief!
Take a walk through woods in early fall and these are the colors you'd spot along the way! This room was put together by our awesome color and paint partner, Benjamin Moore. The backsplash is painted in an earthy gray, sparrow AF-720 and then stenciled with our Chain Link design. The wall is painted in camouflage 2143-40 and the trim is moonlight white OC-125. This woodsy color scheme gives the kitchen a soft and sophisticated style. We can totally see ourselves drinking a cup of hot apple cider in this room
