Holiday Stenciled Craft Challenge Part II
Stencils Can Help Dress Up Your Home For The Holidays
Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! We are back at it again today, sharing inspiring DIY home decor projects using stencils. We have teamed with Stephanie, from Casa Watkins, on another stenciled craft challenge!
What is the Create & Share: Holiday Stenciled Craft Challenge? Each month Stephanie holds a Create & Share competition where she challenges her super creative blogger pals to a friendly little craft-off. This month they chose to partner with Cutting Edge Stencils using our Holiday Craft Stencils. Each participant was tasked with creating a unique home decor project. The projects are in and the results are full of Holiday cheer! Be sure to check out the DIY projects and enter the special stencil giveaway.
This week we will be sharing the projects on our blog and providing links to all of the participating bloggers so feel free be inspired by their creativity.
Project #1: Reindeer Stenciled Tapestry
Jess, from Domicile 37 never fails to impress us with her creativity. She decided to make a holiday tapestry using our Reindeer Craft Stencil and gold leaf. Jess spills the beans on how she created her work of art on her blog. She had this to say about her project, " I love the finished product of my tapestry because it is so me...PERFECTLY IMPERFECT! The silhouette I created out of the Cutting Edge Stencil is raw and is totally up my alley in home decor. "
Project #2: Silver Ornament Stenciled Tote Bag
Meet Iris, the crafty blogger behind Around the Watts House. Iris browsed our new Holiday Stencil Collection and instantly fell in love with our Christmas Ornaments Craft Stencil. She decided it would be the perfect pattern to create a pretty tote. Iris painted the festive stencil using a soft metallic silver. We love the subtle sparkle that her painted design adds to this plain white tote bag.Project #3: Noel Stenciled Window Rack
We'd like to welcome back Crystal, the creative DIY blogger behind Penny Loves Projects. A friend had gifted Crystal an old barn window and after taking a look at our Holiday Stencils she knew exactly what to do with it! She selected our Noel Craft Stencil and she chose to paint the glass window with the festive message. Check out her blog to see how she transformed an old window into this fabulous Christmas decor and be sure to enter our stencil giveaway.Project #4: Winter Cardinal Stenciled Table Runner
Let's give a warm hello to Sarah, the creative DIYer behind Flourish and Knots. For the Holiday Craft Challenge, Sarah decided to stencil festive table decor using our Winter Cardinals Craft Stencil. She bought green felt from the local fabric store and painted the pretty pattern using craft paint. Sarah had this to say about her project, " The great thing about a runner like this is that you really don’t need to add a centrepiece! The runner has enough visual interest on its own that you can keep your table setting very simple."Project #5: Rusted Reindeer Stenciled Art
Let's say hello to Danielle, the extremely creative DIYer behind Creatively Homespun. Danielle had been wanting to create a piece of rusted art so it was perfect timing when she spotted our Reindeer Craft Stencil. She purchased and painted an old frame. Then used a piece of sheet metal and our Reindeer Craft Stencil to create her work of art. Danielle had this to say about her project, " It’s amazing what a difference it makes in a room. I know I can’t stop looking at it." We think it's awesome!Tell us, which Holiday stenciled home decor project is your favorite? Leave us a comment below!
