This year she's back at it again, crafting adorable rustic Christmas art using stencils. First you're going to need this stuff listed below:

1. Gather Materials: Start the stencil project by gathering all of the materials listed above including a wooden pallet. Prep the Wood: Turn your wooden pallet into a canvas that meets your needs. Ashley used her pallet to create these three wooden canvases. Secure The Stencil: Position the stencil design on the wood. Ashley used three different stencils (Snowflakes 3 pc Stencils Kit, Winter Cardinal Stencil,and the Pine Cones Stencil) for this project. She preferred using the blue painters tape to secure the stencil in place. Start Stenciling: Pour your craft paint into a paper plate. Then dip you stencil brush into the paint being careful that you’re not over-coating the brush. Try blotting the paint brush onto the wood instead of sweeping it across like you would on a wall. This will help prevent any bleed. It’s important to build your paint coverage in layers for the cleanest lines possible. Elijah gave his Mom a hand with stenciling this project. Layer the Paint: To give this project more character, try layering on the paint. Paint the pine cones brown and the leaves green. Then lightly dab on a layer of white as a snow highlight.
