A Bathroom Makeover Using A Popular Moroccan Stencil
We're all faced with challenges these days, like how to achieve our dream home decor but on a not so dreamy budget! The good news is that making over a room on a budget is not difficult to achieve thanks to wall stencils from Cutting Edge Stencils! And today, I have the perfect example to prove this point! Let's dive into a project that was done by Haley, a DIYer from the blog Welcome to the Mouse House. She completely revamped her bathroom starting with our Zagora Allover Pattern, which helped her create decorative walls and a whole new look for her space! Haley admits "We don't have a lot to spend {at all}. Working with what we have and seeing the potential in rooms is what we love. This powder room was no exception and we couldn't be happier with the outcome."
On her blog, Haley gives her readers some tips and tricks she learned while completing her powder room makeover. Below are some before pictures that she snapped prior to her transformation. As you can see, it was dark and boy was it green! But in all honesty, its not like it was horrible. In fact, I'm pretty sure we've all seen worse, right? Still, it wasn't their style and they want to redo it even on their tight budget.
Haley was no stranger to stenciling (see her living room reveal using the Kerry Damask Stencil). Before starting her project she made sure to have all of the necessary stenciling supplies. You'll notice that she's using our innovative Clip-On Stencil Level, which is an amazing tool when you're stenciling a wall because it easily allows you to position the pattern.
Just slap me silly! Look at what a difference the Zagora Stencil makes in her powder room makeover!
The soft gray and white pattern really brings new life to the traditional green bathroom she had before. To get this look consider using Benjamin Moore's feather gray 2127-60 and simply white OC-117. This subdued color combination creates a subtle yet exquisite backdrop that mirrors the quiet stillness of early dawn. Then add the perfect pop of color with various accents like Haley did. The result: an absolutely gorgeous, light-filled powder room!
The best part about this bathroom makeover? Well aside from the fact that it's absolutely dreamy! Haley has literally transformed her bathroom with a stencil and some paint. She says " For under $100, we were able to change the look of the entire room. " Now that is what I call a stencil success!
