A Stenciled Accent Pillow Can Brighten A Porch
We'd like welcome Maria, the creative blogger behind
Simple Nature Decor Blog. Maria signed up to participate in the Curb Appeal Challenge, the blogger challenge to share easy and affordable ways to set a welcoming tone for a home. She had been in her home for just over a year and felt that her front porch lacked character. One of the easiest ways to add a splash of color and pattern to your outdoor space is with our DIY
accent pillow stencil kits. Maria browsed the stencil designs on our website and selected the
Bermuda Breeze Accent Pillow Stencil Kit with a white pillow cover and sapphire blue fabric paint. With her kit in hand, she was able to easily complete her project. Maria commented, "This was my first pillow stencil, and I followed the directions to a tee. When I removed the stencil, I was thrilled to see no paint had bled." After the project was complete, she placed the insert inside the stenciled cover and positioned the pretty pillow on her porch.
DIY Accent Pillow Kit Makes Stenciling Easy
We'd to welcome back Michelle, the creative DIYer from
Our Crafty Mom. Michelle admits, " I have a slight obsession with throw pillows. They can totally change the look of a room." That's why she instantly fell in love with our DIY accent pillow stencil kits. They make creating customized accent pillows super easy. Michelle browsed our website and selected the
Seahorse Accent Pillow Stencil Kit. She chose a white pillow cover along with sapphire blue Jacquard fabric paint. Michelle was so happy when she realized this was a super simple project. She opened the kit and was ready to start stenciling. She poured her fabric paint into a foam tray and rolled the dense foam roller in the paint. She was careful to not overload the roller because this would cause the paint to bleed under the stencil. Once the paint was dry, she inserted the pillow insert and was ready to snap some pics of her curb appeal decor.
