Welcome back, my DIY friends.

wall stencils so please share them on our
Facebook page. If crafting is something that you love as much as we do then you are going to love today's creative post featuring
Paint-A-Pillow! This DIY pillow kit comes with everything you need to make a custom accent pillow. Let's take a look at today's stunning pillow projects.
We'd like to introduce Rita, the DIY savvy blogger behind
Crane Concept. Rita loves accent pillows. In fact she wrote, "If you know me, you know I love me a good pillow. " Well let's just say we introduced her to
Paint-A-Pillow and it was love at first sight. Rita browsed the site and fell in love with two geometric patterns, the
Trellis and
Herringbone Stitch . She selected two white pillow covers, Jacquard Fabric Paint in Navy Blue, and
white designer tassels. Before we spill the beans on how to recreate this project, we'll give you a quick glimpse at her pretty pillows.
These accent pillows are stunning! Rita was happy to see that her kit included everything she needed to kickoff this project. She said, "The whole thing from start to finish was so fun. From receiving this giant box (felt like Christmas) to everything you could need to paint your pillow...."
She set up all of her supplies to start her project.
Rita poured her navy blue Jacquard Fabric paint into a foam tray. She chose to paint the Trellis pattern using the dense foam roller that is included in the kit.
Rita was careful to not overload the roller because this would cause the paint to bleed under the stencil.
When the pillow was completely painted, Rita lifted the tabs holding the stencil in place to reveal the pretty pattern.
After the she painted the Trellis accent pillow, Rita painted a second pillow using the
Herringbone Stitch. Then she was ready for the fun part, embellishing! Tassels are an inexpensive add-on to the kit and give the pillow that extra wow factor. Rita used a latch hook tool to attach her
white designer tassels. She pushed the hook through the inside corner of the pillow and placed a tassel on the hook. Then pulled it back through the corner and tied a knot.
And that's how she did it folks! Here are Rita's navy blue stenciled accent pillows.
Rita really enjoyed making her pillows. She said, "This would be so much fun to do together as a group! A couple bottles of wine, good friends, pillows and a whole lot of creativity."
