Lindsay loves crafting Holiday items during the gift giving season. She commented on her blog, " I love homemade gifts. More than that, I love homemade gifts that are easy to create." So her creative wheels started turning when we shared our new Holiday Stencil Collection. After browsing through the new patterns, she selected a couple with these fun projects in mind. Come check them out. Holiday Stenciled Tote Bags Lindsay created a set of spooktacular stenciled Halloween totes so she was super excited to use the new Holiday stencils for gift bags. She snatched up the Reindeer, Christmas Ornaments, and Fancy Christmas Trees stencils along with three canvas totes to create the perfect gift bags. Lindsay used the Paint-A-Pillow frame to hold the white canvas tote and stencil in place as she painted the pretty patterns. She painted each tote using a dense foam roller and Jacquard Fabric Paint. Lindsay commented, "These would be great to fill with Christmas gifts or just as a gift on their own." Creating a unique gift bag was as simple as that! She commented, " At the time I was choosing stencils, I was putting together our Christmas mantel. I needed something to put on the piece of barn wood I was hanging above the mantel. The Reindeer Stencil was the perfect solution." Lindsay took a piece of barnwood that fit over her mantel. Then she taped the Reindeer Stencil using painters tape and painted the head in white craft paint. Lindsay was a little more playful with the colors she used for the string of lights between the antlers choosing red and green hues. Once her project was dry, she propped it up on the mantel to display. She exclaimed, "Look how cute he is!" We think it looks adorable!
