wall stencil pattern to finding the perfect room accents. Cutting Edge Stencils is here to hold your hand through the decorating process. We're gonna start by showing you some nature inspired stenciled nurseries that could be just perfect for your little tyke!
Casablanca Stenciled Nursery
Meet Christine, who is the proud mama of Averey, a bouncing baby boy. She posted her adorable gender neutral, nature-inspired nursery on her blog, Pretty In Prints. This was Christine's third child and she already had one very pink little girl's room and one very blue little boy's room so she planned to create something different for her third little love. Her style for this space was vintage with a modern printed twist. Christine and her husband began the project by constructing a wooden accent wall. Yup, they built that and you can read all about it on her blog. To enhance her wooden accent wall, Christine painted her remaining walls white and then stenciled our
Casablanca Allover Pattern in Behr's Porpoise (semi-gloss). She used our
clip-on stencil level and had this to say about the handy tool, "you really HAVE to use a level to make sure everything is aligned." The room looks stunning and because of the couple's crafty DIY skills, they only spent $800 to create this entire nursery! Way to go, Christine!
Birch Forest Stenciled Nursery
Next up, we want you to meet Rebecca, the proud Aunt-to-be and DIY enthusiast behind the blog
The Sourdough Cottage. Rebecca wanted to do something super sweet for her pregnant sister-in-law, Monika, so she decided to design her nursery. She knew Monika had wanted a woodsy/animal theme for the room. Rebecca waited until Monika was out of the house and then she got to work. The walls were already painted white so she stenciled our
Birch Forest Allover pattern in Behr's granite to create a woodsy accent wall. Once they put the finishing touches on the space, Rebecca revealed the room. She said, "Monika let out the biggest gasp and proceeded to tear up" after seeing the room. We just love the look of this room! Oh and did you notice the two large birch trees on the sides of the stencil? SO clever!
