Cutting Edge Stencils Is Featured in Better Homes & Gardens Special Interest Publications

Good morning, my DIY friends! We love spending time at Barnes & Noble flipping through the latest home decor publications. Quiet and relaxing, that is until we spot one of our gorgeous stencil patterns staring back at us. Then all you hear are squeals of delight. Today you're going to hear double squeals because Cutting Edge Stencils was featured in two special interest publications from Better Homes & Gardens, Garden Ideas & Outdoor Living and Quick & Easy Decorating! Isn't that awesome? Come take a look at what we spotted. We thought so! Home gardens have become quite popular whether you choose to grow a couple of tomato plants or a bunch of fruits and veggies. If you've checked out Pinterest, then we're sure you've spotted various ways to add color and personality to your budding hobby. You'll love the idea we spotted in Garden Ideas & Outdoor Living using our stencils to pretty up garden stepping stones. This garden idea is simply perfect because it combines practical needs, stable footing for a garden, and adds a personal touch. For this project, round cement steppers were purchased from a building supply store like Home Depot or Lowes. Then using our Ammonite Fossil Stencils (which is available in three sizes), they spray painted the prehistoric pattern onto the cement in various gray and brown hues. Find all of the details of this project on page 107. Artistic and functional, we love it! It featured not one but TWO of our popular patterns. The first showed fans how to march to the beat of a DIY drum. In the section titled, Let There Be Light, readers are encouraged to make a statement by creating DIY light fixtures. To inspire them, the publication shows how a vintage drum purchased off eBay can be transformed into a pendant light. Just remove the metal tension rods, mask the stained rims, paint the sides spa blue and stencil our Allium Grande Flower Stencil. Easy peasy! We know you've seen this space before because it belongs to one of our favorite DIY bloggers, Jen from I Heart Organizing. Jen painted our Birch Forest Allover stencil pattern in Behr's Seven Seas to brighten up her playroom. The magazine has this to say about stenciling, " It's a fab way to make a big pattern statement without the fuss of wallpaper." We totally agree with that!
