Take this newfound time at home to customize garden accessories with various craft stencil patterns and colors that show off your personality!
5 Simple Stencil Instructions to Get This Look!
1. Shop for Pots: You can purchase various sizes of terracotta pots at your local home improvement store and sometimes you can even find them at the dollar store!
2. Paint Your Pot: Use a chip brush to paint the flower pot with Blossom White Rustoleum Paint.
3. Spray Stencil: Once the paint is dry, apply a light coat of repositionable spray adhesive to the back of your craft stencil. This will help the craft stencil stick to your terracotta pot and reduce your chances of stencil seepage.
4. Stencil: Place your craft stencil on the painted flower pot and use a 5/8" brush for stenciling to pounce Martha Stewart's Mermaid Teal acrylic paint over the openings. Repeat the pattern with built-in registration marks.
5. Protect From Weather: Seal your stenciled masterpiece with 2 coats of water-based polyurethane for protection from the elements! :)
