Cutting Edge Stencils Spotted In DIY Decorating Magazines
Our Stencils Are Now Appearing In Do It Yourself Magazine and Everyday Home
Good morning, my
Cutting Edge Stencils friends! The fireworks are still bursting in the office after we spotted our
allover stencils in two amazing home decor publications. We could hardly believe that our
geometric patterns were featured in Fall issue of
Do It Yourself Magazine and the July issue of
Everything Home. Before you rush to the newsstands to purchase your own copy, let's rehash all the juicy details of these stencil sightings.
Do It Yourself Magazine: 5 DIY Ideas To Steal
The title of this article is Wall Overhaul, and
Do It Yourself Magazine seems to think that stenciling is the perfect way to add bold color and pattern to your space! In this article, the publication shares the home of Lindsay Ballard, a homeowner and blogger for MakelyHome.com. Lindsay's mission was to banish the beige from her Austin, Texas home, one room at a time. Her gorgeous bedroom was featured on page 80. This eye-catching space has a beautiful
chevron painted accent wall painted in Behr dark granite and powdered snow.

It's gorgeous isn't it? Lindsay painted this pretty
wall pattern by hand.
Since Do It Yourself Magazine is a go-to guide for DIY decorating they have offered up some simple ideas to steal the look. On page 83, the clever publication suggests that readers consider
stenciling to get the zig zag shape across an accent wall using our
Chevron Stencil. They write,
"Roll and Go: A stencil is another way to bring large scale chevrons to your walls. " We love this idea!
Everything Home Magazine: Ready, Set, DIY
Everything Home is a web-based publication filled with decorating, food, and fashion ideas. The publication showcased our
Secret Garden Toile Stencil in a beautiful DIY tablecloth project. Home decorating blogger, Shelly of ConfettiStyle.com shares an easy
step-by-step tutorial for crafting a tablecloth using a
toile stencil.
We love this project! This project can be spotted on pages 11-13. Shelly painted this chinoiserie design in Anita's Christmas Green Acrylic craft paint. We love how fresh the stencil design looks against that white tablecloth. What a creative way to bring a bright pop of color to a dining table!
