Cutting Edge Stencils Spotted on HGTV's Leave it To Bryan
The Birch Forest Stencil Is Featured on HGTV's Leave It To Bryan
Good morning, my DIY friends! We're only days into the new year and
Cutting Edge Stencils is kicking it off with a bang! On Monday we launched ten new trendy stencils (find them here) and yesterday we were featured on the popular HGTV Canadian show,
Leave It To Bryan. Just in case you happen to be busy (maybe stenciling your own project *wink* *wink*) and missed our major cable network appearance, we're going to rehash all the juicy details of our fabulous stencil spotting. Can you feel our stencil excitement?
Leave It To Bryan: Climbing the Walls
In
Leave it to Bryan homeowners get a much needed reality check in the ultimate renovation tug of war between wants and needs. Veteran contractor Bryan Baeumler chooses a space based on the biggest need and takes the blah space to ooh la la. In this particular episode David and Daniela’s home is in need of renovations, but with three young boys they don’t have the time or energy. Bryan takes one project off their plate but leaves some decisions up to them. Our Canadian fans can watch the episode
here.
Inside Stenciled Scoop
Awhile back, the oh-so-creative designer, stylist, and art director for HGTV,
Laura Lynn Fowler, contacted us about a makeover project that she was working on for a TV program. The Leave It To Bryan team got together and transformed David and Daniela's basement into an awesome play space for three young boys under the age of five. We're so happy to see it all come together!
The
Birch Forest Allover Stencil was painted in a vibrant cobalt blue and helps divide the play space from the adult space by creating a new dimension to the wall.
The bold paint colors bring a fun, playful atmosphere to the previously dated basement.
Here is the view from the other angle...
We bet those three boys are really enjoying their new play space!
