Welcome back, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! We want to kick-off this week with an awesome stencil mention. We were super excited to see one of our favorite flower stencils in the latest issue of Do It Yourself Magazine. Before you rush to the newsstands to purchase your own copy, let's rehash all the juicy details of the latest stencil sighting. In this creative article, the publication has created a multilevel dream deck that blens interior and exterior spaces. The result is a prime place to lounge, dine, and entertain alfresco. On page 53, the clever publication suggests that readers consider stenciling outdoor accent pillows and a table using the Allium Grande Flower Stencil. It says, " Spray a stencil with dark paint to make it opaque then use it to mask a pillow cover made of white cyanotype fabric. Leave the pillow in the sun until the exposed areas turn blue." The base of the table was painted in Benjamin Moore's utah sky to complete the project.
