Wall Stencils Spotted In A Vintage Chic Home Tour
Good morning, my
Cutting Edge Stencils friends! We were over the moon delighted to open up the November/December issue of
Flea Market Decor Magazine and spot our pretty
stencil designs! Just in case you missed our magazine appearance, we're going to rehash all the juicy details of our fabulous
stencil pattern sighting. Come check it out!
Go Inside A Picker's Paradise
If you flip open to page 29, you'll take a lovely walk through Laurie Turmel's home. She named the stylish abode, Miss Georgia, and it certainly seems to fit! If vintage chic meets flea market find is your decorating style then you will love every bit of this home. In her living room she's stenciled the
Gabrielle Damask Stencil in a berry colored hue. Rather than stencil the pattern in a traditional allover fashion, Laurie randomly placed the
damask pattern across the wall. She applied varying amounts pressure so the design has a weathered look.
Then in her bedroom she's featured the
French Poem Allover Stencil on an accent wall. This french typography wall stencil is more than just a pretty (type) face and looks perfect in this vintage chic home. Laurie comments, "With decorating it shouldn't be, Oh what will people think? Your surroundings are you. Put whatever you want, wherever you want."
Laurie also used the
French Poem Stencil on her bathroom floor. It's so subtle and yet it really adds something to the space.
Laurie left no space undone. She even managed to work her stencil magic on the painted porch. Look closely at the porch floor and you'll see our
Charlotte Allover Stencil.
