New Blog Design to Showcase Decorating Ideas with Stencils

Decorating Ideas with Stencils As you may have noticed, the Cutting Edge Stencils blog recently got a design makeover! While keeping with the green theme that we have established on our main website, our blog is now a lighter hue, and, consequently and appropriately, has a more personal feel. We have also officially named our blog – Stencil Stories! Before reaching this solution, members of Cutting Edge Stencils brainstormed lots of different name possibilities together. Some of our runner ups were Stencil Bug, Stencil Trends, and Stencil Adventures. If you read our blog post on our new logo design, you know how much effort goes into coming up with the perfect type treatment! Although we had settled on a name for our blog, our work was nowhere near done. You can check out some of the type explorations for our blog header below. We also implemented the typeface Gotham throughout our new design, the same typeface that we use in our new logo. Luckily, Gotham is a typeface with many different weights (light, thin, medium, bold, black, etc.), so it's great for creating differentiation while also keeping everything unified as a cohesive whole.
