Our Nola Tile Stencil truly steals the show in this mudroom makeover. Sasha Thoen, the wildly creative DIYer behind the account @pleasant.farmhouse on Instagram, wanted a budget-friendly solution for the floor of her unfinished mudroom.

Her initial design plans included geometric cement tiles. However, for someone who likes to get a feel for a space before committing to permanent fixtures, she just couldn’t justify the costly tiles.

Instead, Sasha went looking for an alternative. After a bit of research, she ultimately settled on using a stencil! For her, the value was not only in the price, but a stencil also allowed her the flexibility to completely customize her color choices. Plus, if down the road she decides it’s time for change, paint is a much easier fix.

Creating the Designer Look

The Nola Tile Stencil, paired with Sherwin Williams Iron Ore paint, was the perfect solution! This modern, geometric tile stencil was inspired by popular cement tile patterns. With its price ranging from $9.95 - $22.95, we’d say that is an absolute steal for a floor makeover!
