Pamela had an old fire pit that needed an inexpensive makeover. Here is what it looked like before. An old firepit before its stenciled makeover. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/products/augusta-tile-stencil-design-patchwork-tiles-stencils The tiles around the fire pit were worn and dull looking. Rather than toss this old outdoor item to the curb, Pamela decided to give it a little stenciled pick-me-up. She decided to stencil the old tiles using one our tile stencils. She browsed our large collection of tile patterns and selected our Augusta Tile Pattern. This beautiful pattern is based on traditional Portuguese Azulejos tile designs and has become very popular. Then she coated in them in black spray paint. Pamela used blue painters tape to hold the stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern in white. Pamela used Resilience, an exterior acrylic latex paint, so that her fire pit would hold up to the outdoor elements. Then she added so some cedar planks so that her fire pit doubled as an umbrella holder/outdoor table. We just love her creativity!
