We have a nursery featuring our Daisy Crazy Flower stenciled accent wall. It's bright, cheery, and contains a whimsical stencil! We'd like you to meet Sarah, the proud mama of a lovable little girl and the blogger behind Bombshell Bling. Sarah and her husband have an older son and were super excited when they found out they were expecting a little girl. The couple planned to turn their son's room into the baby's nursery and create a big boy room in the spare room. Here is what the nursery looked like before its makeover. It was a simple and functional nursery. This time around Sarah wanted a nursery with some serious style so she took to her favorite social network, Pinterest, for ideas. She selected a color scheme of pink, aqua, and white. First she painted the wall a pretty shade of bubblegum pink. Sarah comments, "At first I was shocked by how bright it was when it covered entire walls, but now I simply love it. It is so reflective of my daughter’s vibrant little divalicious personality. " While searching for inspiration, she had fallen in love with the idea of stenciling an accent wall. Sarah was hesitant to commit to stenciling a full wall and lucky her for her she found the perfect stencil while browsing our stencil shop. The Daisy Crazy Flower Stencils, 9 piece Mega Kit was the perfect pattern for her daughter's nursery. Sarah liked the idea of doing a cluster of daisies in different colors above the crib. So she positioned the crib against the wall and using painter's tape, she marked a straight line above it. Then she used painter's tape to position the daisy stencils in a random cluster. Sarah planned to paint the daisy cluster in various pinks and blues. She poured her pastel colored paint into paper plates and got out her dense foam roller. For this project, Sarah used Pantone samples that she purchased at Lowes. Then she painted the flower stencils on the wall. Sarah let the painted stencils dry for about two hours and then pulled them off the to reveal the pretty flower pattern. She said, "They look pretty good, right?!" We totally agree! They look awesome. To compliment the whimsical flower decor, Sarah found an old dresser that had gorgeous character but needed to be updated. She painted it using chalk paint and purchased new drawer pulls. Tell us, what do you think of this Daisy Crazy stenciled nursery? Leave us a comment below, we'd love to read your thoughts!
