A Dash of Damask: Nadya Damask Stencil
Cutting Edge Stencils Shares Spaces Painted Using the Nadya Damask Stencil
Good morning my
stencling friends! Have you had a chance to take advantage of the Labor Day stencil sale? Make sure you hop on over to our
stencil shop before September 2nd to get 20% off all stencils using the code LABORDAY20. Not sure which stencil to choose? I know, I know
Cutting Edge Stencils has so many fabulous options that it can be hard to choose just one! Well maybe today's Stencil Stories can help you out because we have three gorgeous stenciled spaces using our oh-so popular
Nadya Damask pattern. Damask patterns are super trendy and the Nadya Damask is the perfect way to add a dash of Damask and a pop of color to your space. Don't believe me yet? Then check out these stunning examples...
I want you to meet Cris, the crafty DIYer behind the blog
Crissy Crafts. You might remember Cris from her last stencil project, this
Dandelion stenciled pallet wall art. It's pretty awesome, right? Well she decided that her powder room needed a bit of a makeover and what's the perfect addition to a powder room? A stenciled accent wall! She quickly fell in love with the look of our
Nadya Damask Stencil. Since the powder room was all white, Cris wanted to use the stencil and her decor accents to introduce color into the space. She selected a bright happy shade of blue similar to Benjamin Moore's
poolside blue 2048-40. Cris says, "These pictures don't do justice to the WOW effect that stencil did to the bathroom." It's pretty gorgeous, don't you think?
Next I want to introduce Sadie Jane, the thrifty home decor enthusiast behind
Simply Sadie Jane. Sadie Jane had a warm and inviting master bedroom but it lacked her personal style which is chic, funky and fresh. She started with a color makeover and selected grey, white, and turquoise as her palette. Next it was time to add a stencil! Sadie Jane says, "The room wouldn't be complete without this stencil." After all what's more funky and fresh then a stenciled damask pattern?! She also chose the
Nadya Damask Stencil for her space in a mid-tone teal similar to Benjamin Moore's
teal tone 663. Once the stencil was complete, it really set the mood for the rest of the space. We'd say she hit the nail on the head if her goal was funky and fresh!
From powder rooms to master bedrooms, the Nadya Damask is quite the crowd pleaser. Where else have we spotted this fan favorite? Well. we've also seen it adding a POP of color to a craft room! Meet Jill, the clever DIYer behind the blog
Mission Decorate. Jill says, "I am still basking in the glow of my lovely new stenciled wall. Isn’t it pretty..." Oh YEAH! Jill added the
Nadya Damask Stencil to her all white craft space in a pinkaliscious hue similar to Benjamin Moore's
raspberry glaze 2078-20. She walks her readers through her exact stenciling process on her blog so I won't bore you with the details but if you want the play-by-play, then make sure to check out her post
here. She credits the
Clip-On Stencil Level as the key to her stenciling success. What did Jill think of her Nadya Damask stenciled craft room? Well she said, "I am actually so excited about it I am bursting at the seams." Now that's some sweet stencil LOVE!
