A Quick Fix For A More Beautiful Bathroom
A Stenciled Bathroom Makeover With The Indian Arrows Stencil
Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! The bathroom is a space that is often neglected in the design department, yet when guests come to visit, chances are they're going to spend some time alone in your bathroom -- left to ponder your lack of style or luxury. Banish bathroom beauty woes with this simple and affordable fix. Wall stencils are easy to use and inexpensive. Let's take a look at a bathroom makeover using one of our tribal stencil patterns, the Indian Arrows Allover Stencil.
We'd like to introduce Carrie, the creative DIYer behind the blog Worth Pinning. Her blog is filled with adventures, crafts, and DIY projects that are totally worth pinning in our opinion. Recently Carrie took a good look at her bathroom and realized it was bare. Since she didn't want to commit to one color, her entire bathroom was completed in shades of white. Here is what the bathroom looked like before the makeover. Plain and simple, it was no wonder that Carrie wanted to add a dose of personality! A wall stencil is a great way to add a splash of color and pattern without a large commitment. She happened to be browsing our online stencil collection when she stumbled upon one of our trendy tribal patterns. She said, " As soon as I saw the Indian Arrows Allover wall stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils, I purchased the stencil from my phone. " With her stencil in hand, Carrie was ready to get started on her quick bathroom update! She used painters tape to hold the pattern in place and decided to paint the arrow pattern in five different colors. Carrie used a different stencil brush for each color. *Stenciling Tip* It's best to use a dabbing motion or a light circular motion with your brush. Just dab or swirl in a light sweeping circular motion, covering all of the design. After she painted each section, she would carefully remove the stencil to reveal her pretty Indian Arrows Stencil pattern. After all the stenciling was complete, Carrie added decor elements that she had around the house. She used black frames filled with wallpaper she had on hand, hooks she had previously purchased from Target, and a lotus tea light holder. Ready to see how it all turned out? Here is Carrie's stenciled bathroom. Doesn't the Indian Arrows Allover look so amazing in this space? We think so!
