Easily Dress Up A Blank Wall
A Stenciled Kitchen Accent Wall With The Zamira Stencil
Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! Are you sick of staring at a cold, stark, blank wall? Infuse it with warmth and style by painting a wall pattern. Wall stencils are easy to use and inexpensive. Let's take a look at how one creative blogger dressed up her blank wall using our Zamira Allover Stencil.
We'd like to introduce Anna, the creative DIYer behind the blog Winberg Wonderland. Her blog is filled with her photography and DIY adventures. Since moving into her charming home, Anna has been updating it with DIY projects. Here is what the kitchen looked like before the makeover. It was dated but Anna didn't have the budget for a complete kitchen overhaul. The first thing she did was paint the cabinets white. It instantly brightened up the space. Next, she wanted to a blank wall that she wanted to cover with pattern and color. Wallpaper was out of the question because it's costly and a hassle to put up. Anna decided a wall stencil was the perfect way for her to add a splash of color and pattern without a large commitment. She happened to be browsing our online stencil collection when she stumbled our Zamira Allover Stencil. With her stencil in hand, Anna and her husband were ready to get started on the kitchen accent wall! They used painters tape to hold the pattern in place and decided to paint the Moroccan pattern in Sherwin William's Haze. *Stenciling Tip* It's best to use a dabbing motion or a light circular motion with your brush. Just dab or swirl in a light sweeping circular motion, covering all of the design. After each section was painted, they would carefully remove the stencil to reveal the eye-catching Zamira pattern. After all the stenciling was complete, Anna placed a wine cabinet and some decorative elements against the wall. Ready to see how it all turned out? Here is Anna's stenciled kitchen accent wall. Anna commented, "Looks great and I think it really gives our kitchen a pop." Doesn't the Zamira Allover Stencil look so pretty in this space? We think so!
