Stencils Are the Perfect Way To Decorate A Small Space

Good morning, my stencil loving friends. Cutting Edge Stencils understands that a small space can be a challenge to decorate. Too much color or pattern can be overwhelming, while minimal decor can make it feel neglected and bare. Finding the perfect solution isn't always easy, which is why we'd like to recommend using stencils to add visual interest and enhance the space. It's the perfect way to add just the right amount of color and pattern. Take a look at a stenciled bedroom nook using our Sophia Trellis Allover Stencil. We'd like to welcome back Kristi, the clever crafter behind the blog Notes For My Little Ladies. Kristi has been redecorating her home with one DIY project at a time. When we reached out to her a couple of months ago, she was relatively new to the stenciling scene. She started out small and her first project was a magazine rack makeover with our Zamira Card Stencil. With one successful stencil project under her belt, she took on another one using our Casablanca Card Stencil. The second time around, she created this adorable stenciled frame and letter wall decor. After completing two successful stenciled decor projects, Kristi was ready to go big! She decided she wanted to stencil a nook within her bedroom. Here is what her space looked like before: Kristi chose our Sophia Trellis Allover Stencil, one of our newer Moroccan stencil designs. She used blue painters tape to hold the stencil to the wall and a dense foam roller to paint. She also used our handy-dandy clip-on stencil level to ensure the stencil was straight on the wall. Krist had this to say about that clever little tool, "I must say, the stencil level was SO helpful!" Here she is working through the stencil process.
