An Amazing Closet Turned Office

A Stenciled Cloffice Idea Featuring the Acacia Allover Stencil

Good Morning, my DIY decorators! Have you been dreaming about a big beautiful office where you store all your craft supplies and organize your DIY projects? Cutting Edge Stencils totally gets it. It feels like there's never enough space in a home. The good news is that you're not alone and you don't have to abandon your organized dreams. A small space, like a closet, can go a long way. In fact, we hear closets turned into offices have been nicknamed, cloffices, and they are quite popular! Today we're sharing a stenciled cloffice. You might remember Charlotte's Otomi stenciled accent wall that we featured not too long ago. Well, Charlotte has been back at it again and this time she transformed a closet into a mini-office, aka a cloffice. Let's back up and start from the beginning. When Charlotte and her husband bought their home they were a little surprised by the way certain spaces were used in the home. There happened to be this great space with a gorgeous window inside being used as a closet. Rather than continue to use it as a closet, she decided to transform it into her own personal craft workshop. Here is the space before the makeover: The before shot of a closet transformed into an office using the Acacia Allover Stencil. https://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/products/leaf-stencil The first thing Charlotte did was paint the space using Behr Ultra’s Aqua Bay, a beautiful shade of green that was similar to the curtains she had made. Then she selected our Acacia Allover Stencil, a modern leaf design and painted it in a soft white hue similar to Benjamin Moore's simply white OC-117. Charlotte used blue painters tape to hold the stencil pattern in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern. Here she is working through the stenciling process. The minty green hue really helps brighten the space and works well with the whimsical leaf pattern. We think she did an awesome job transforming this small space.
