Let's take a look...Stenciling A Shabby Chic Nursery
We'd like to introduce you to Noelle, the soon-to-be proud mama of baby Colette and creative DIYer. She posted this soft hued, shabby-chic nursery on the popular children's design site, Project Nursery. Noelle describes her decorating style as feminine, shabby-chic, and a bit quirky at times. This loving mama already has one child, an adorable little boy named Griffin. When she found out she was having a girl, she was over the moon excited to unleash her decorating style in her new daughter's room. Noelle says that she swiped many of the creative ideas from the talented folks on Etsy, "people far more creative than myself." Etsy is also the place where she spotted our stencils. She fell in love with the idea of stenciling after noticing our gorgeous stencil designs. A stencil can really enhance the decor of a space and make a statement. First she painted the nursery Martha Stewart's Heavy Goose, a soft gray color. Then she stenciled our Charlotte Allover Stencil, a lace-like geometric pattern, using Martha Stewarts Acrylic craft paint in Rose Chrome. Noelle admits she has two favorite items in this nursery, "The dresser, but also the stencil because I put so much time into it!" Awe, we think she did a great job stenciling that accent wall!
