Stencil Designs Can Add A Dramatic Touch To A Master Bedroom

Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! Wall stencils can help you transform your master bedroom into the space of your dreams. Today we are sharing a stenciled master bedroom makeover featuring the Zagora wall pattern and a pretty purple hue! Come take a look. We'd like to introduce Natalie Massie, the creative Interior Designer for Fluff Interior Design and blogger behind The Enchanting Life. Natalie had a Client that she had worked with for years on several stunning homes. This time the Client reached out to her about updating her master bedroom in her downtown penthouse. Here is the room she started with... The neutral painted bedroom had a ton of potential. Natalie was ready to take on this project and inject this space with style and beauty. Her Client had two requirements for this bedroom makeover. The first was to include her favorite color purple and a piece of art that she loved but wasn't working in the current space. Natalie put together a game plan. It included a stenciled wall pattern behind the bed. A wall stencil is an easy and cost effective way to add visual interest to a room. Natalie browsed our large collection of Moroccan stencils and fell in love with the Zagora Allover Stencil, a popular Moroccan wall pattern. With her walls painted a creamy white and her design in hand, she was ready to start stenciling. Natalie reached out to Sara Nickolle from K Pallet Company to stencil the accent wall. Sara used painters tape to hold the stencil in place on the wall. Then she poured her purple paint into a small tray and painted with a dense foam roller. After each section was painted, Sara would carefully un-tape the stencil and reposition. She did this until her entire wall was stenciled. Once the stencil was complete, Sara and Natalie stepped back to admire the beautiful stencil work. Natalie put some finishing touches on this bedroom including new lamps and new wall decor. Let's take a look at how this beautiful bedroom turned out. Natalie had this to say about her project, " We added touches of spa blue and took things over the top in a GOOD way by stenciling the wall behind the bed. Now this bedroom lives up to its address! LOVE!" We love the warm purple color combination paired with this Moroccan trellis inspired stencil pattern. Oh, and because we love before and after photos.
