Stencil A Relaxing Bedroom Retreat
Stencil Patterns Add Style To A Master Bedroom Makeover
Good morning, my
Cutting Edge Stencils friends! We are going to help you create a relaxing bedroom retreat by adding style and personality to that lackluster space.
Wall stencil patterns are an easy and inexpensive way to add an accent wall. Today we are sharing a stenciled master bedroom makeover featuring the
Beads Wall Pattern that will hopefully inspire you to refresh your space. Let’s take a look...
We'd like to welcome back Stephanie, the DIY decorating enthusiast behind the blog
One Mile Home Style. Stephanie fills her blog with DIY projects that she completes around her home. On her list of projects to complete, was her master bedroom makeover. It was a bland and boring space that needed a dose of color and personality injected into it. Here is the room she started with...
Now you can see why Stephanie wanted to makeover the space. She embraced the idea of adding a
wall pattern. Stenciling a wall design allows you to achieve a wallpaper like look for a fraction of the cost. Stephanie browsed our large collection of
geometric stencils and fell in love with the
Beads Allover Stencil, a contemporary wall pattern. She said, "This entire room makeover started with stenciling the wall behind the bed. I found this Beads Allover Stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils, and absolutely loved the pattern! ."
The first thing she did was give her bedroom a fresh coat of paint using Glidden Graphite. The dark gray statement wall was gorgeous but it was begging for pattern. Stephanie is no stranger when it comes to adding a wall pattern. We bet you remember her stenciled
laundry room project!
With her
Beads Stencil in hand, she was ready to start
stenciling! Stephanie placed her Beads Allover Stencil on her bedroom accent wall. She used blue painters tape to hold the stencil in place on the wall. Then she poured her paint into a small tray and painted with a dense foam roller. Stephanie painted the
bead pattern using creamy white paint. Once the stencil was complete, Stephanie complete the room with some stylish details. You can read about the details of the
bedroom project on her blog. Ready to see how her stenciled space turned out?
Now this is a stylish master bedroom we would love to retreat to at the end of a busy day. Here is a close-up of the pretty
wall stencil pattern. Stephanie commented, "Using the lighter color from the other walls in the stencil kept the color palette simple, but the contrast makes a bold statement!"
