Typically I'd say, Out with the old and in with the new! But why throw boring old pillows when you could easily stencil them to give them a whole new designer look! Take the ones shown below. Now these were crafted by A Little Knick Knack and she used canvas to create her one of kind throw pillows. But you could just as easily stencil old pillows to give them some new life. Be prepared to oooh and aaah over this one! Jaqueline, from the blog My Simple Home Life, stenciled this adorable blue Moroccan table with our Casablanca Stencil! She took an old table and some of her favorite blue paint to make this eye catching piece of furniture. Jaqueline says, "I enjoy painting small pieces with a pop of color." And boy do we enjoy looking at them!
5. DIY Stenciled Lamp Shade
Creative queen, Ashley, from the blog Mommy by Day Crafter by Night, added a little color and dimension to her plain, white lamp shade with our Casablanca Craft pattern and some turquoise paint! Although Ashley was a tad bit shy about the secrets to her success, we can safely assume she used painters tape and a stencil brush to help her create the design! This is a great project for a first time stenciler, and the results are adorable!
6. Glass Framed Wall Art
Check out this chic wall art! Cheri, from the blog DIY Club, stenciled this glass frame with our Casablanca stencil! She wanted to do something unique for daughter’s bedroom, and found a frame in a thrift store for $3! She discarded the photo that came with the frame and decided to beautify the glass to make it her own. To do so, Cheri used Krylon Frosted Glass Finish in White and a touch of magic! She sprayed on three coats of paint, letting each dry for a half hour before adding more paint! She painted and sanded the frame to get a distress look. Ta-da! The perfect wall art for any room.
