This week, our friends Cliff and Kara, from the blog LiveLovePasta, is hosting a review and giveaway with Cutting Edge Stencils! Kara had always dreamed of spicing up her decor to give it an HGTV designer touch. Wanting a wall paper like look but without the hassle and expense they opted for the Moroc-N-Roll Stencil. But as a first time stenciler, she was nervous and after much procrastination finally jumped into their first stencil project which was an accent wall in their bedroom. Kara admits "I was in love with my wall." Shortly after the stenciling duo painted the Houndstooth Stencil design in their family room. Cliff and Kara used a high gloss paint on their accent wall, making it a cool, creative way to dazzle her anticipated guests! Oh yeah, and I love how she added bright pops of yellow and turquoise! Megan had recently updated her office space and purchased a great little storage space/bench. But the seat cushion that it came with was looking a little blah. Rather than go out and purchase a new designer cushion, this clever crafter decided to make her own! Thanks to the Casablanca Stencil and some cheery yellow paint, her space is now sizzling space! Heidi is at it again. You might remember seeing her bedroom featured in one our previous blog posts. Well this time she's working creating the perfect little nursery for her baby girl. Heigi said "I saw the Gabrielle Damask pattern and knew it would be absolutely perfect." She used a basecoat of petal pink and then stenciled the damask design in a deeper rose pink. Heidi then kicked it up a notch with a silver metallic glaze over the rose pink stencil. Wow, is all I can say! But wait, there's more!
