Home Decorating Ideas Using the Rabat Stencil
Stencils Are Simple Yet Add Standout Style To A Space
Good morning, my stencil friends. If you're reading the blog today because you feel your home could use a pretty pattern to dress it up then you've come to the right place.
Cutting Edge Stencils feels that no matter the size of your decorating project, stencils can easily make a big impact. From an accent wall to DIY wall art, let's take a look at how the
Rabat Allover Stencil delivers big personality...
Meet Naomi, the creative DIYer behind the blog
Chasing Thyme. When Naomi moved into her new home in Switzerland, she said she was in desperate need for color. She commented, "Switzerland is an amazing country. But one thing they don’t do very well is home-decor variation. Everything is white." First on her project list was her kitchen nook. She wanted a pleasant place for their family to eat. Naomi browsed Pinterest for ideas until she found a gray
Rabat Allover stenciled accent wall. It was love at first site. She watched the stencil tutorials on our website and was excited to begin stenciling. Naomi used painters tape to hold her stencil in place and painted the pattern with a dense foam roller. Once the kitchen nook was completely painted, Naomi bought a new table, added bench seating, and hung wall decor. She had this to say about her newly stenciled space, "My kitchen is now aglow with life. It’s the place we retreat to for lazy weekend breakfasts and family-of-three dinners."
Now if stenciling an entire accent wall seems daunting or unrealistic for you then we have the perfect alternative! Meet Kerry, the creative gal behind the blog
Two of A Kind Working on a Full House. Kerri had a large blank wall in her master bedroom. Keeping her limited budget in mind, she decided to make some DIY wall art. She purchased five 16"x 20" canvases at Michaels for $9.99 and our
Rabat Allover Stencil. Kerri used blue painters tape to hold the stencil in place on the canvas and then she painted the pattern using left over gray paint from her dining room project. Once the canvases were painted, Kerri adhered white frames that she found at Target for $2.99 to them. A super simple decorating project that adds standout style to her bedroom!
