Inspiring Stencil Projects of the Week!
Room Ideas Using Wall Stencils Shared By Our Instagram Fans
Happy Friday, my Cutting Edge Stencils fans. This week our imaginative stencil fans have been sharing inspiring stencil projects on our social networks. We can't get enough of their creative DIY home decor projects using our stencils! So we have rounded up this weeks favorites to share on our blog. Remember, please use the #cuttingedgestencils in your post if you want to be highlighted as a fan project of the week! Now let's enjoy their creativity...We are going to start off this highlight with a pretty as a peacock stenciled accent wall. Mysha (remingtonavenue) sure knows how to enhance her space with a stenciled accent wall. She painted the Peacock Feather Allover Stencil pattern in a soothing gray hue over a soft white colored wall. She commented, "Featured here is my peacock wall stencil which I consider wall art, and botanical print I picked up a few weeks ago at a local nursery." We consider her stenciled wall a work of art also!
The oh-so talented Kathy Hynes Artistry (kathyhynes), a faux painter, showed off her stenciling skills with this zippy floor. She painted the Chevron Allover Stencil in black over white on a floor. She commented, "I never get sick of the chevron pattern on a floor. If your hard woods are messed up. ...paint them." Stencils sure have a way of perking up a plain dining room! Geoffrey D. emailed us pictures of his project saying, "Since most of your project pics reflect a newer home (where the stencils look fabulous, incidentally!), we thought you might enjoy seeing them applied to a period restoration. So, I am attaching before and after pictures of a circa 1775 house that we are restoring. Your Abundance Damask Stencil, done in metallic glaze over flat paint and then sealed, fit the bill for a period look. Many thanks from a satisfied customer!" We think this transformation is stunning, Geoffrey D.! Marley (21sunshineave) posted this eye-catching powder room with our Moroccan Dream Allover Stencil painted on an accent wall. She commented, " This DIY stencil project was truly a labor of love. Although it was my first attempt at stenciling walls, and has some flaws, I am proud of even attempting it!" We think this space looks amazing so Marley should be super proud of it! StettieHand is at it again. It appears that she just can't stop herself from creating gorgeous room! She recently shared this living room that features our popular Marrakech Trellis Allover Stencil on an accent wall. We love the shimmer of the Moroccan stencil. She said, " Extended this color and pattern into the living room." Great job! We want you to continue to share these inspiring projects so if you have a stencil project that you'd like us to see, please submit it on our website here or upload it to our Facebook page or use the hashtags #cuttingedgestencils on Instagram.
